| high performance · intermediate |
The new high intermediate from Windtech is a revolutionary wing aiming for the best market performances for the recreational pilots, and pilots seeking an easy, fun and solid design without compromising the safety.
This is the first Sport wing certified in a lower category and the result of a great design and research work and three years of testing and development in prototypes. The Zenith has the speed, agility and turbulent air comfort like no other wing in the market.
The safety in the air is simply amazing and the capacity of lift in weak and broken thermals incomparable. The maximum glide is by far the best in the Sport category and it can compete with Open Class wing in certain conditions. The new Zenith tension cut and the stiffness of its unique profile make possible to use the full potential of its flat polar curve and high speed during any XC flight.
The Zenith design aim is just to be referenced as a fun, polyvalent and simple recreational wing with the possibility of getting the most out of it in the long XC flight in turbulent air conditions and performing like no other wing in long glides against the wing.

> Three risers with a high vault and a minimum line consumption, only 277m in the M size. The projected surface does excel in thermal flying and poor lift. The glider is always at the top of the stack.
> New tension cut that enhances the pressure in the leading edge and trailing edge. This does improve the general balance and turn radius. Now only little brake input is necessary to have a great handling.
> Cell width reduces across the span, towards the tips. There are two kinds of diagonal ribs, depending on the thickness and width of the cell. No external seams on either top or bottom surface. No intermediate cells.
> Minimum canopy weight. a little more of 6Kg. in the M size. And extent R&D has been applied here to save every gram. Minimum double leading edge reinforcements and a new profile air flow hole system to save fabric in the internal structure. Result is a light inflation in any wind condition.
> Line set is made from highly durable sheathed Aramid lowers and UV treated unsheathed mids and uppers.
> Low drag risers. 3 ultra slim 10mm risers with swivels and reinforcements in the harness connection for minimum weariness. |

 |
Logo Service
We provide a full service to have logos put on your new Windtech glider (eg. company or sponsor logos, artwork, etc). The cost for this would depend on the size and complexity of the logo. |
 |
Fly-man glider transfer
Add some unique style to your new Windtech glider with this great looking 4m wide transfer of the Flyman, Windtech's flying mascot. You can tell us where you want it, or put it on yourself. |
| All orders with non-standard options or flyman transfer have an extra cost and a longer delivery time, depending on how long it takes to get in materials and production. If you are interested in any of these opciones please consult your dealer about your requirements. |

Parapente Vuelo Libre, September 2010
|
 |
This is the replacement wing for the Tecno of this Spanish brand. It did surprise everybody when it passed the certification in Class B. Remember this is a high intermediate wing very ambitious. It is fast and has a great handling. Only three risers although the rear one is doubled in the top floor and the front one has a split riser for big ear maneuvers. The line set up is only in two floors (the top one unsheathed). Each cell out of three has a line. It has a thick profile with the center of pressure well advanced and an elliptical vault short and compact…

| zenith > quality control |
 |
Each and every wing has a checklist passed though our strict quality control in the factory. This includes line measurement, ground inflation and flight testing. If there was not the opportunity to test fly your glider before you received it then you should get your dealer, or an experienced pilot or qualified instructor, to test fly the glider for you before you fly it.
Note that each glider has a unique sticker attached to the centre cell with the serial number, type of glider, size and weight range. |
|
We recommend that your first flight on your new glider be on a gentle slope in calm conditions before making any further higher flights, just to check the glider completely and for you to get used to flying it.
You should use the same class of harness, and restrict the width of the chest strap, according to the glider's certification as advised by the certification body.
|
 |
For you own safety, we strongly recommend the use of back protection, helmet and Windtech WindSOS reserve. |
