The Mad Max-2 is a semi-reflex paraglider specially designed to fly with big trikes, although it can also be flown taking off on foot since it is very easy to inflate and its high performance achieves short distance take offs all the time. This is due because its profile works as a normal profile most of the time and only works as a reflex profile when the trimmers are fully released. We have worked on getting a glider with an easy inflation on the ground and in no wind conditions therefore the pilot does not repeat the launch with the engine. It is very stable throughout the speed range without noticeable dutch-roll at full throttle. This glider stands out from others for its precise and fast turn that makes it a very fun glider to fly and not very physical in the brakes. The Mad Max is equipped with a double handle on the wingtips to use at maximum speed and 'has an extra anchor on the front risers to facilitate inflation. The trimmer is long and easy to use allowing a very high cruising speed. It is DGAC approved and allows to carry heavy loads, although it can also be flown in the lower part of the weight range without affecting performance or safety. It is made with a robust fabric and its durability guarantees continued use for many years. The Mad-Max is the best option for both the professional and the recreational pilot who wants to take with him clients or friends in a simple and practical way.

It includes lots of useful details and information about this glider, also the correct line diagrams for proper replacement.
Each and every wing has a checklist passed though our strict quality control in the factory. This includes line measurement, ground inflation and flight testing. If there was not the opportunity to test fly your glider before you received it then you should get your dealer, or an experienced pilot or qualified instructor, to test fly the glider for you before you fly it. Note that each glider has a unique sticker attached to the centre cell with the serial number, type of glider, size and weight range.
We recommend that your first flight on your new glider be on a gentle slope in calm conditions before making any further higher flights, just to check the glider completely and for you to get used to flying it. You should use the same class of harness, and restrict the width of the chest strap, according to the glider's certification as advised by the certification body.
For you own safety, we strongly recommend the use of back protection, helmet and Windtech WindSOS reserve.

All Windtech wings carry a two-year guarantee from defects due to materials or manufacturing.
If a product is deemed to be defective by Windtech, this included warranty covers the repair or replacement of the defective product or part only.

Windtech is not responsible for mailing costs or material costs used other than what is found to be defective.
