07-02-2013 > Fenix victory at Xceará XC world competition
In December the Cariocas pilots "Papa Tudo" Rogerio Santos and Alessandro Heringer achieved first and second place in the open Xceará competition at Quixada (Brazil). This famous XC competition was celebrating this year its fourteen anniversary. Even on a cloudy day the couple left behind all other competitors thanks to the great speed and glide of this wing. Both Fenix wings managed on an overcast day a flight of 225km. Congratulations to both pilots who got the most out of their equipment. Rogerio did achieve his best personal flight. “I always wanted to compete here, tough I was quite afraid due to its strong conditions reputation. The flight was a challenge and pushing my limits to the maximum. This is a spectacular place with a beautiful and diverse landscape. I will come back next year” Rogerio said. Alesandro noted that the Fenix is very fast and very safe, this is very important to face Quixada's XC flight with easiness and confidence.
Next season the Fenix will be the wing to beat in this continent.
