In the latest edition of the French 'Vol Libre' magazine (nº 359 June 2006), which has just gone to press, the Tempest has received a seriously in-depth review, for which Vol Libre are renowned. A very good reason to rush out to your favourite magazine stockist and get yourself a copy!
Extracts:

«Windtech innovates. The Spanish brand has a superb range of paragliding wings for all levels, appreciated by connoisseur pilots worldwide - as much for free-flying paraglider pilots as for powered paramotor pilots, with the new Kinetik

Take off: No tendency to over-fly the pilot whatsoever. Really easy, smooth launch behaviour - not difficult at all.

In straight flight: Potent acceleration hands up as well as when using the speed bar - as progressive and regular as a high speed train (TGV).

Handling: All-round the handling is very nice, progressive and regular…

A step further ahead: The Tempest is clearly a highly pleasurable wing with excellent performance, easy to fly and very well-behaved.

Conclusion: This Tempest proves itself to be sweet, comfortable, accessible and very effective!

The downsides: Factory brake line adjustment.
The upsides: Relaxing launch characteristics - handling - turn - performance - efficient - flight control - superb leading edge definition.»
