10-03-2005 > Tim Hall and Kinetik in the Antartic.
Tim Hall first is the first pilot to do a paramotor flight in the Antartic with a Windtech Kinetik.
The expedition made landfall in Antarctica on January 26th atDorean Bay. Tim Hall and some of the other mountaineers spent the next 7 weeks climbing, exploring, filming and paramotoring in the area.  The first flight was made on 29thJanuary 2005.  Tim flew several mountain's peak in the area and the longest flight lasted 1h 10m and to a max altitude of 1500 m. The only incident to report is when Tim crashed in the sea whilst making an approach to his landing due to cold air sinking off a nearby glacier. This is a 2 year project with several expeditions to the frozen continent.
